Update 3: We’ve got a good one in Cross River, gang. It’s 21-21 after three quarters. Ray Maggi caught a 2-yard score from Tom cylenica to tie it for JJ.
Update 2: Greeley holds a 21-14 lead at the half.
Update 1: Kevin is back for another one after covering the Rye-Harrison game and reports Greeley leads 14-7 after the first quarter on a pair of touchdown runs by Matt Brophy.

Update 3: It’s 14-0 Rye Neck after three quarters. The Panthers’ TDs came on a 10-yard run by Frank Pisco and 1-yard by Jack Newton.
Update 2: It’s scoreless at the half. Both teams have had chances to score but have been unable to do so.
Update 1: Eric Lebowitz is on hand for the action and reports it’s scoreless after one quarter. But check back with us, because Bronxville will start the second quarter with the ball at the Rye Neck 2, keyed by a Brian Murray 45-yard run.

Update 3: It’s still 7-5 White Plains after three innings — I mean quarters.
Update 2: It may look like a baseball score, but White Plains will take it. The Tigers lead 7-5 at the half. Mount Vernon’s points in the second quarter came on Andre Gaynor’s 35-yard field. There were four turnovers in the first half — three by White Plains.
Update 1: Josh Thomson is reporting on the area’s longest running rivalry for us today. White Plains leads 7-2 on a 5-yard TD run by John Philogene.
MAMARONECK AT NORTH ROCKLAND
Final: North Rockland 28, Mamaroneck 7
Mamaroneck scores its touchdown with 20 seconds left on a 12-yard run by QB Andrew Benkwitt.
Update 2: North Rockland leads 21-0 after three quarters. The Red Raiders scored on a 60-yard touchdown run by Sulla on the second play from scrimmage in the second half.
Update 1: Jake Thomases reports that North Rockland leads 14-0 at halftime on touchdowns by Sal Sulla (16-yard run) and Angelo Williams (5-yard run). Both touchdowns came in the first quarter.
PEARL RIVER AT NANUET
Final: Nanuet 28, Pearl River 0.
The Golden Knights hold on to the Little Brown Jug and give coach Rich Conklin his 199th varsity win.
Update 3: Another 21-yard run by Hanney stretches Nanuet’s lead to 28-0 after three quarters.
Update 2: Nanuet leads 21-0 at halftime. Bret Bonomolo (1-yard run) and Dave Ostrow (57-yard pass from Tom Hanney) scored second-quarter TDs.
Update 1: Our Rockland football guru, Harold Gutmann, is following all the action as Nanuet and Pearl River are meeting for the Little Brown Jug. Harold reports that the Golden Knights have jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 21-yard run by Tom Hanney.
HARRISON AT RYE
Final: Rye 28, Harrison 3
Rye wins its sixth straight against Harrison.
Update 8: The Garnets have now officially pulled away, gang. Cole McCormack breaks free for a 40-yard TD run on the first play after the Garnets recovered a Harrison fumble. The fumble came on the initial play after Harrison took over possession following Rye’s third score. It’s 28-3 Rye.
Update 7: Connor Eck completes a 15-yard TD pass to Donald Keough on the first play of the fourth quarter. The Garnets now 21-3 and are well on their way to their sixth straight win over Harrison.
Update 6: The Huskies are still holding a 14-3 lead after three. Right now, Rye’s best defense is its ball-control offense. Kevin reports that Rye ran 16 of 20 plays in the quarter to dominate the clock, led by Kyle Ramalho and Cole McCormack.
Update 5: Harrison gets on the board as time expires to end the first half on a 26-yard field goal by Jack Molloy.
Update 4: The Garnets added another TD as Eck scores on an option keeper from 9 yards out. It’s 14-0 with 9:09 left in half.
Update 3: It’s 7-0 Rye after one quarter. Harrison’s Sam Goldman intercepted a pass at his own 2 to thwart a Garnets scoring threat. The Huskies have the ball to start the second quarter.
Update 2: Rye scores on the opening drive of the game as Harrison transfer Matt Foristel hauls in a 9-yard scoring strike from Connor Eck. It’s 7-0 Garnets with 8:18 left in the opening quarter.

In pregame ceremonies that just ended moments ago, Harrison’s Justin Segal and Rye’s Patrick O’Callaghan were named recipients of the prestigious Chris Mello award, which is named in honor of the former Rye star who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.
BEGINNING OF DAY REPORT
Rivalry weekend continues today — weather permitting — with Rye and Harrison squaring off in “The Game” and Pearl River and Nanuet meeting for the Little Brown Jug.
