NANUET AT BYRAM HILLS

Final: Byram Hills 17, Nanuet 7

Christopher Esposito closed out the scoring with a 15-yard run late in the game. I have to admit I’m a bit surprised by this one. I really thought Nanuet would win and that coach Rich Conklin would enter next Saturday’s game against Pearl River for the Little Brown Jug needing one win for 200 for his career. I have to give Kevin credit for this. On Wednesday’s edition of “Varsity Central Live,” I openly questioned his pick of Byram to beat Nanuet. In case you missed the show, “you can watch an encore presentation here.”:http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=MOGULUS01

Update 1: Josh Thomson just filed his first report from Westlake where Westlake is up 6-0 after one quarter. Jesse DiBiase scored off a 75-yard punt return with 3:30 remaining.

FORDHAM PREP AT MOUNT ST. MICHAEL

Final: Mount St. Michael 13, Fordham Prep 12, OT

Danny Padilla caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Max Otano and the Mountaineers kicked the PAT to go up 13-6 in the extra session. Sean Schank of Fordham then caught a 10-yard TD pass from Brendan McGlynn and Fordham Prep went for the 2-point conversion and the win. McGlynn then handed it off to Chris Moffa who threw it back to McGlynn at the 2, but the toss was incomplete.

Update 3: It’s going into overtime, folks, all tied up at 6-6. The teams have really struggled offensively. Mount St. Michael has completed one pass for -7 yards for the game.

Update 2: Still 6-6 after three quarters.

Update 1: It’s 6-6 at halftime. Connor Brown has two field goals — for 32 yards and 27 yards. His second tied it at 6-6 with 2:52 left in the half. Mount’s TD came on James Martin’s 2-yard run. The kick was blocked.

FOX LANE AT HARRISON

Final: Harrison 35, Fox Lane 13.

Jeremy Burnett winds up with 164 yards rushing on 10 carries with two TDs.

Update 6: The Huskies are pulling away and appear to be heading into “The Game” vs. archrival Rye next Saturday with some momentum. A pair of fourth-quarter TD runs by Jeremy Burnett — for 66 and 63 yards — have put the Huskies up 35-13 with two minutes left.

Update 5: Claudio Delli Carpini recovers an onside kick, leading to a 1-yard TD by Dillulio on a keeper. Huskies lead 21-13 with 10 minutes remaining.

Update 4: Harrison takes a 14-13 lead after Dillulio connects on a 7-yard scoring pass to Goldman on the first play of the fourth quarter.

Update 3: Fox Lane is still holding a 13-7 lead after three quarters.

Update 2: It’s 13-7 Fox Lane at halftime. The Foxes’ second TD was a 5-yard pass from Jesse Hunt to Travis Johnson Harr to end a 70-yard drive. Harrison’s TD came on a 7-yard TD pass from Phil Dillulio to Sam Goldman nine seconds before halftime.
