September
22

With Tuesday’s sweep of Yonkers, Edgemont improved to 5-0 for the first time in 20 years.

Yonkers is the best team we’ve played so far,”  Panthers coach Bill Glassman said. “But we were a little better. This team is a very close-knit group. They are hard-workers who love being around each other.”

Kara Freedman had nine kills and three aces, and Abbie Wang had 28 assists and four aces in a 25-14, 25-17, 25-21 win.

Lauren Kreinik had seven kills and four aces, and Alexa Stone had seven kills and three aces for Edgemont.
