The North Salem girls were knocked out of the state playoffs today by S.S. Seward of Section 9. North Salem was the superior team through 110 minutes of soccer but couldn’t find the net. Still tied at 0-0, the game went to a shootout. There Seward won 3-1.

Rye Neck beat Section 9’s O’Neill today 2-0 in a Class B regional semifinal at Arlington High School. Rye Neck controlled this game over the final 75 minutes yet couldn’t score until there was 6:20 left.
